Policy Agreement
Prospective clients should read this policy agreement in full before initiating a massage with Hillary Bratcher, the LMT behind Massage By Hillary. The purpose of this page is to give a better understanding of the underlying rules upon booking and the nature of the therapist/client contract.
Client Appointment and Cancellation Policy:
Client is expected to give no less than a 24 hour cancellation notice. Failure to do so will result in an immediate loss of priority on the booking schedule. Multiple failures may result in a termination of contract altogether. This is absolutely non-discriminatory. The purpose of this policy is to provide a safe guard for not only the integrity of the massage therapist, but the loyal clients who will often be first priority to be provided an opportunity to book a more near future appointment when others cancel without proper notice.
A no-show without notice will result in immediate delisting on the booking schedule and may result in immediate termination of contract altogether.
Client/Therapist Expectations and Confidentiality
Personal information of any sort should be considered to be private by default. This is expected of both the client and therapist. To ensure the best possible experience for you and all my clients, please take a moment to review the following guidelines:
Before Your Appointment
- Arrive on Time – Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and a brief consultation.
- Hygiene – A quick shower before your appointment will be very much appreciated for the cleanest and most comfortable experience possible.
- Health Considerations – If you’re feeling sick please cancel and reschedule your appointment. If you have any medical conditions, please let me know in advance so I can tailor the session to your specific needs.
During Your Session
- Open Communication – Your comfort is top priority! Please speak up if you need adjustments to pressure, temperature, or positioning.
- Professional Boundaries – This practice is strictly professional and therapeutic. Any inappropriate behavior, verbal or physical, will result in an immediate end to the session and an immediate termination of contract. Make no mistake, this will absolutely not be tolerated under any circumstances and is a zero-sum policy.
- Relax & Enjoy – This is your time to unwind, so take deep breaths, let go of your mind, and allow yourself to fully immerse yourself in the experience.
After Your Appointment
- Hydration is Key – Drinking plenty of water and electrolytes helps your body recover quicker and maximize the benefits of the massage session.
- Post-Massage Sensations – Some mild soreness is nothing to worry about and is completely normal. Stretching and rest can help ease any discomfort that may arise.
- Future Bookings – If you’d like to schedule another session, I’d be happy to help you find a convenient time!
